Clear expectations for every introduction.
These terms govern your use of Aether. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.
Effective July 28, 2026
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement.
- Provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use only your own identity.
- Aether may require identity, age, payment, or payout verification before particular features become available.
- Accounts may not be sold, shared, or used to impersonate another person.
What Aether provides
Aether provides technology for adults to discover and arrange lawful, non-sexual social experiences. Companions are independent participants who decide which requests to accept, set permitted rates and availability, and are not employees or agents of Aether.
Aether does not guarantee that a request will be accepted or that any member or companion is suitable for a particular experience.
Identity or age verification is not a criminal-history, sex-offender-registry, driving-record, professional-license, or other background check unless Aether expressly states otherwise for a particular feature.
Strictly prohibited services
Aether may not be used to offer, request, negotiate, imply, or exchange payment or anything of value for sexual activity, intimate contact, escort services, illegal drugs, trafficking, exploitation, or any unlawful activity. Changing terminology does not make prohibited conduct acceptable.
Bookings, pricing, and payments
- Nightclub, night-club, and bottle-service bookings are prohibited, regardless of the activity label used.
- The checkout screen must show the activity, hourly rate, duration, subtotal, platform fee, and total before payment.
- Booking prices are fixed when checkout is completed; later rate changes do not alter an existing booking.
- Payments and payouts must remain in Aether unless Aether expressly authorizes another method.
- Cancellation and refund terms shown at checkout form part of each booking.
- Memberships and booking charges are separate. Store-billed mobile memberships are also governed by the applicable app store’s terms.
Safety and conduct
- Respect consent, boundaries, venue rules, and all applicable laws.
- Companions may not consume alcohol during an Aether booking. Members may not pressure, encourage, purchase, or provide alcohol for a companion during a booking.
- Aether may suspend accounts and review related bookings when alcohol impairment or a prohibited venue is reported.
- Use accurate profile content and do not harass, threaten, discriminate, stalk, or pressure another person.
- Do not share another person’s private information or exact location without permission.
- Use reporting and blocking tools when appropriate. Contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
- A companion who voluntarily starts hourly protection authorizes Aether to process the companion’s precise location and, after a missed PIN and unconfirmed safety call, send the last shared location, the member’s display name, and limited booking context to the companion’s consenting emergency contact.
Companion recommendation rewards
- An approved companion may recommend a new companion using a personal code. A recommendation is attached once and cannot be exchanged, sold, self-applied, or reciprocally traded.
- When the referred companion is approved, the recommending companion receives seven days of priority discovery. Priority does not override safety, blocking, availability, distance, verification, or account restrictions.
- The recommending companion earns a reward equal to 10% of the referred companion’s subtotal on eligible paid and completed bookings. Membership charges, platform fees, taxes, tips, refunds, disputes, canceled bookings, preview bookings, and unpaid bookings are excluded.
- Rewards remain pending until Aether reviews eligibility, fraud, refunds, disputes, tax requirements, and payout readiness. Aether may reverse ineligible or refunded rewards and does not promise a particular number of bookings or earnings.
Content and moderation
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Aether a limited license to host, display, process, and moderate it to operate the service. Aether may remove content, pause listings, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or cooperate with authorities when reasonably necessary for safety, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.
Submit only content you own or have permission to use. Do not upload stolen photographs, copyrighted media without authorization, or another person’s voice, likeness, or private information.
Copyright concerns
Copyright owners or authorized agents may send a sufficiently detailed infringement notice to support@getaetherapp.com. Aether may remove reported material, request additional information, notify the account holder, and terminate repeat infringers when appropriate.
Disclaimers and responsibility
Use Aether at your own judgment and risk. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or the conduct of another user. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Aether prohibits companions from consuming alcohol during bookings but cannot guarantee or continuously monitor individual conduct. Each person remains responsible for following the rules and applicable law; report suspected impairment and leave or contact emergency services when safety requires. This statement does not waive liability that cannot legally be waived.
Safety check-ins, calls, messages, location sharing, and emergency-contact alerts may be delayed or fail because of device settings, connectivity, phone networks, third-party providers, inaccurate information, or events outside Aether’s control. They are not emergency monitoring and do not replace local emergency services.
Ending an account
You may delete your account from Account settings. Aether may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, fraud, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Provisions that reasonably need to survive—such as payment, safety, evidence, intellectual-property, and liability provisions—remain effective.
