Back to Aether Companions

Your time, with clear standards.

These additional terms apply when you create or operate a companion listing on Aether. They supplement the Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety standards.

Effective July 28, 2026

Independent participation

Companions participate independently, choose their lawful social experiences, set permitted rates and availability, and decide which requests to accept. Nothing in Aether creates employment, agency, partnership, or a promise of bookings.

A written label alone does not determine worker status. The actual relationship, including control, independence, and applicable law, governs. Aether may update operational practices when needed to comply with worker-classification requirements.

Taxes, expenses, and legal requirements

  • You are responsible for taxes, filings, expenses, transportation, equipment, permits, licenses, and insurance that apply to your independent activity unless the law requires Aether to handle a particular obligation.
  • Do not drive, serve alcohol, provide professional services, arrange regulated travel, or perform another licensed activity through Aether unless you are legally qualified and appropriately insured.
  • Provide accurate tax and payout information to the payment provider and promptly update information that changes.

Truthful application

  • Use your own identity, current photos, accurate age, and truthful profile information.
  • Complete required email, age, identity, media, and payout reviews before a listing can be approved.
  • Do not lend, sell, transfer, or share a companion account.
  • Tell Aether promptly if verification, payout, legal, or safety information changes.

Services that may not be offered

A companion may not offer, negotiate, imply, or accept payment or anything of value for sexual activity, intimate contact, escort services, trafficking, illegal drugs, or any unlawful conduct. Off-platform wording or payment does not avoid this rule.

Bookings and payouts

  • Accept only requests you can safely and reliably complete.
  • Do not accept, move, or disguise a booking for a nightclub, night club, bottle-service venue, or similar club environment.
  • Do not consume alcohol during an Aether booking. Confirm this rule each time you accept a request and end or report a booking if someone pressures you to violate it.
  • Keep booking and payment communication in Aether when live checkout opens.
  • Payouts are subject to payment-processor onboarding, reserves, refunds, disputes, taxes, and applicable law.
  • Aether may pause a listing or payout review when verification, safety, or processor requirements are incomplete.

Companion recommendations

  • You may give your personal recommendation code to a prospective companion you genuinely know or trust. Do not sell codes, create fake applicants, refer yourself, or exchange referrals.
  • When a referred companion is approved, your listing receives seven days of priority discovery, subject to member filters, distance, availability, blocks, verification, and account standing.
  • You may earn 10% of the referred companion’s eligible paid and completed booking subtotal. Platform fees, membership charges, tips, taxes, canceled or unpaid bookings, refunds, and disputes do not qualify.
  • Referral rewards remain pending review until fraud, refund, dispute, tax, and payout checks are complete. Ineligible or refunded rewards may be reversed.

Optional hourly protection

  • You may activate hourly PIN check-ins for an accepted booking after adding a mobile number and a trusted emergency contact who agreed to receive alerts.
  • Keep your six-digit PIN private, keep your phone available, and provide accurate contact information. Do not use another person’s number without permission.
  • Starting protection authorizes Aether to process your precise device location for the active session and to share the last location and limited booking context with your emergency contact after a missed PIN and unconfirmed safety call.
  • Hourly check-ins supplement—not replace—your judgment, personal safety plan, or local emergency services.

Review and enforcement

Applications, media, reports, and material profile changes may be reviewed. Aether may reject, pause, or remove a listing and preserve relevant evidence when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, payment rules, or policy enforcement.

Insurance and risk

Aether’s platform insurance, if any, does not replace personal auto, health, travel, professional, or commercial coverage that may apply to your activities. Confirm coverage with a licensed insurance professional before accepting requests involving transportation, travel, events, or other elevated risks.
