Before live payments

Aether keeps production booking checkout disabled until its payment processor, identity checks, companion payouts, webhook monitoring, and refund operations are connected and tested. Preview totals do not charge a card or create a right to a paid booking.

Booking cancellation

• The cancellation deadline and refund amount must be shown before a member pays.
• A companion decline or an Aether cancellation before the experience begins will result in a full booking refund, except where prohibited by law or a charge has already been reversed.
• Member cancellations after the displayed deadline may be partially refundable or nonrefundable to compensate reserved time.
• A verified safety issue, duplicate charge, or materially incorrect charge may be escalated to support for review.

No-shows and shortened experiences

No-show and early-departure reports are reviewed using the booking record, in-app messages, and available evidence. Aether may issue a full, partial, or no refund based on the circumstances and applicable law. Users must not submit sensitive identity documents in a support request.

Memberships

• Memberships renew at the disclosed interval until canceled.
• Canceling stops future renewal and does not normally refund a partially used billing period unless required by law.
• Apple-billed memberships can be managed in the Apple ID subscription settings and are governed by Apple’s billing and refund process.
• TestFlight subscription purchases occur in Apple’s sandbox and do not create a real charge.

How to request help

Signed-in users can open Support from their Aether profile and include the relevant booking or charge reference. Aether may request additional non-sensitive information and will communicate the outcome through the account or verified email.
